Without Sean my house would never have been finished...period.

While building my straw bale home in Jamul, CA I was struggling with my own lack of knowledge and an inexperienced crew hired by the first job supervisor (who only visited the site a couple of times a week.) We dropped behind schedule almost immediately, and work kept having to be redone when the crew misunderstood directions, or the instructions were incorrect.

Sean was a godsend when he came onto the project early in the framing process. He quickly became the job supervisor and put us back on schedule. Because he has hands-on knowledge of every aspect of construction, he was able to anticipate problems, fix mistakes we had already made, and keep the crew on track and doing things correctly. He supervised and trained all of us in various aspects of building (with remarkable patience!) and is the single reason I have a completed house today.

We have consulted Sean Saunders for design and site management on several remodel projects for both our home and office spaces.  He has recently acted as the site foreman for the interior remodel of our new home in Clairemont and we’ve consulted him on the design of a two-story addition to the front of that house.  He will act as site foreman and project manager during that construction.  We hope to break ground on the project in the next year.
